Add a note

1. Open a regular HTTP or HTTPS page.
2. Open Medusa Notes from the browser toolbar.
3. Select Add note.
4. Click inside the note and start typing.

Move and resize

Drag the top bar to move a note. Drag any corner to resize it. Position and size are saved automatically for that page.

Rich content

Use the controls on the note to change its color or transparency, insert emoji, add checkboxes, highlight text, and insert multiple images by button, paste, or drag and drop.

Flying notes

A Flying note follows you across supported websites. It has a peacock marker and is not removed by the page-specific Clear all action.

Drawing

Select Draw to use a pencil, brush, line, rectangle, ellipse, or eraser. Choose color and width, undo the last action, or remove all drawings for the current page.

Comments

Select text on the web page first, then choose Comment. Add your comment beside the highlighted passage. Click its bubble later to reopen, edit, or delete it.

Complete and collapse

The checkbox in the note bar marks the whole note complete. Collapse a note into its Medusa icon when you need more space; the icon is green when complete and red when incomplete.

Print and clear

Print expands notes and comments for the browser print dialog. Clear all removes page-specific notes, drawings, and comments after confirmation.

Google Drive sync

1. Select Sign in in the popup.
2. Choose your Google account and approve access.
3. Use the same account on every computer.
4. Wait for the status synced.

Backup and restore

Open Help in the popup. Use Backup data to download a JSON backup and Restore data to import it later.
